This album unveils a completely new way of making music. This album was created in my home studio in Seattle when Aaron Cote came to visit in the summer of 2018. I recorded a collection of samples, and passed them to Aaron to stitch together one at a time in a sort of musical tapestry, which was further layered multiple times, until the final product came together. This is a beautiful ambient album that tells a story. Enjoy!

This album is a collection of tracks recorded in the cabin at Big Bear. Band members played a variety of improvised instruments on these tracks. Rhythms and tracks were created in really imaginative ways, and the result is a wild ride of unpredictable, interesting sounds! Modular Synths dominate the composition framework, but other instruments shine through and create full sounds. Enjoy!

This is the second release as Spuzz Jams. This album consists of snippets taken from many different jams throughout early 2013 through the Spring of 2014, and if I had to compare it to anything, I would say it is most like Emperors of Gnouv's Oh Baby New Year album, but a slightly more mature version. Like most of our improvisational music, this album features a lot of different musicians playing multiple instruments. I spent weeks on the post production overdubs, drones, samples, etc. The result is an eclectic group of songs that span fusion, post-rock, psychedelic rock, space rock, odd time signatures, and other weird stuff anyone familiar with Gnouv music would be accustomed to hearing. Enjoy!

The Fynndlit Big Band - Meals of Oblivion LP

This is The Fynndlit Big Band's latest Big Bear studio recording. We approached this album track by track, focusing on ways we could combine what we had in original ways, trying to create something different from one track to the next. We ended up making an album with a lot of really interesting variety whose cohesion and textures came together in a surprising way - sometimes more obviously than others, sometimes more subtlety. Also, to me the whole thing had a totally playful air about it. The cabin is definitely a fun place to record. While we were there, we made a bunch of really kick ass meals and drew a crazy cool picture for album art. Enjoy!
